Under The Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013 each customer must provide photo ID, (passport or driving licence), or 2 utility bills (less than 3 months old) for the same address. It is illegal to pay by cash for any form of scrap metal, so payment is made by cheque or direct to a bank account, for which we will require your account number and sort code.
